The coolest fact I have perhaps come across while researching Grapevine Mills Mall is the fact that the original manager who opened Grapevine in 1997, Joe Szymaszek, returned to his post in 2012 just in time to reboot the mall in a time of extreme transition, and for the full multi million dollar remodel that was completed in 2016.
