Weekend Rundown #8

Hello Dearest Readers and a Happy Weekend to You All!

I have to admit I have enjoyed the ride of the #AtoZChallenge but I have finally found the downside, the time constraint of keeping up with the alphabet keeps me from posting on more current occurrences.  Having to post everyday within my theme, and within the order of the alphabet it becomes difficult to tell you that:

  • I attended Star Wars Celebration this past Sunday in Orlando.   It was quite epic.
  • Bebe is pulling a Limited and closing all 172 locations by May.
  • My Target is already showing results of their major remodel they will be pushing company wide, and I want to share my pictures so badly.  (Luckily tomorrow is T)
  • The Unicorn Frappuccino was the bane of baristas, the ridicule of health nuts, and the envy of some very angry customers who left their local Starbucks empty Handed.

This past Thursday I did take the entire day to make sure I threw in a Unicion Frapp post in my weekly lineup.  It’s a fun read, it was fun to write at least. 😉

Everyone is Invited To A Blog Party

On May 1 of 2015 I hosted a May Day Blog Meet & Greet.  This year I want to give it another round.   The Meet & Greet from this past January had a decent turn out, and if May Day is about anything, it is about reaching out to your neighbors.  So let’s celebrate all together April 29th-May 1st!

  1. We tried to order one of the Unicorn Frappuccinos the other day and were informed that they no longer had the ingredients. Evidently each store got an allocation, and when they ran out, that was it. I have a feeling that those who did manage to get one tasted it and said “this is awful!” and threw the rest away. I understand it wasn’t all that good…

    1. Ya, Unicorns have been quite a fad over the winter. The same crowd that lives on IG so the frapp went viral, it was a smart bet.

But the sea of backlash was my main focus of my post.
