How to Indulge, Inspire, and Reform your Community

Just in case you didn’t know, just in case you’ve ostracized yourself and haven’t noticed sleigh bell’s ringing, or ornate Christmas decor along the streets, then let me remind you, it’s the Holiday Season!  This means a height in shopping, and as every year goes, a real spike for Amazon.

But why not get out this holiday season, stop by your favorite coffee shop, and embrace the atmosphere of the holidays.  Step away from your screens and let your eyes find inspiration and wonder form the unique items you find in your local shops, malls, and other various brick and mortars.

Here are a few blogs I came across over the past couple of weeks who have embraced their favorite brick and mortars, and made a difference while they shopped.

  1. I do support my local independent places, and it’s good to have relationships with them. I must admit, though, I did most of my shopping online, not just through Amazon, but also via Etsy. There is something spectacular about wandering around brick & mortar shops, but so few of us have the time to devote to it.
    Thanks for the share 🙂

  2. First of all, I am so happy to tell you that I am a great shopoholic. At times , I prefer online shopping but only for accessories, but in case of clothes, shoes I would love to shop it personally. Great read!

  3. I have to be honest, so far this season I have done ALL my shopping online (being a mom to 8 will do that to you!). But you’ve encouraged me to take some of my kiddos to the downtown, local shops and see what we can find. And get out of the house and away from the screens! 😜
