Coffee Talk

So even before I posted about my dreams yesterday afternoon the topic of the want to sit down and have a coffee with fellow bloggers came up between Sassycare and I that morning.  Then Real Life Marti’s Comment on my blog “I’d rather meet my blog family in my dreams any night over meeting my Face Book followers!” So it made me wonder, and utterly curious who she would prefer to sit down with over a fresh brew of a Caramel Flan Latte?  Whose blogs do you relate to the most on a human to human level that you are dying to sit down and pick their brain over a coffee break or high noon tea?

No your not limited to one.

  1. Too many to list… and then it would just become this whole “Blogging Conference” because there’d be so many people there. And that could just get awkward because I don’t do well with large groups. πŸ˜‰

  2. Besides yours, and Single Family Asylum (So funny, even without kids, I can relate to the house-stuff), I would say it really depends on my mood. Sometimes a poetry blog, sometimes a political blog, it really depends.

      1. That guy just cracks me up. And I can still relate even without having any kids. Maybe because I have cats? Hahaha. More likely because I have helped friends and family.

  3. First of all, if that is a caramel flan latte, I don’t care where you are, I will be there! On a serious note, I prefer the people here. I feel the support that they are willing to share with me.

  4. I’m on my way over for some coffee talk… I love flavored coffee. My husband and I often have what we call “Dessert Coffee” after dinner: coffee, flavored creamer, and whipped cream. πŸ˜€ Now, coffee with some Bailey’s and some sugar and whipped cream is definitely a must in the cold weather. πŸ˜€

  5. I think you and I would have some good stories to swap about the retail world but that would probably be it. I have a lot of war and sea stories from my Navy years but most people outside of veterans aren’t very interested. You’re probably a similar age or just a little older than my daughter and though I don’t mind talking about my four grandkids from time-to-time, I’m not very good at chit chat with younger people. As soon as someone brings up anyone younger than Christina Aguilera or Avril Lavigne, or something dealing with hip hop, rap, Twilight or Walking Dead, I’d be lost. πŸ˜‰ However, I would drink coffee. I like coffee. πŸ™‚

    1. Lol! Ya, before the blog but since having children they kind of take over my topic of conversation, despite my best efforts! πŸ™‚ I must say though I too feel out of the loop on topics such as Walking Dead and hip hop anymore. My youngest brother is 11 years my junior and still in college, and so I use him for my current pop culture reference “go to”.
