haha, that was a huge mantra of mine in management. I would have guest managers, managers I was training, managers training me, and district managers that would nit pick tiny strange habits of my very diverse staff. I would just nod at their notes and ask them, “what do these strange habits affect? The customers? The product? The store? The processes? Very well then, let’s just pick and prioritize our battles shall we?” 😉
On this I’d have to say it’s best to pick your battles. 🙂
